Sleep Checklist
- Create a dark, cool, quiet sleep environment
- Use blackout curtains or a sleep mask
- Turn on white noise or a fan to block daytime sounds
- Set a "Do Not Disturb" sign or signal for family
- Aim for 7–8 hours of uninterrupted sleep
- Limit screens 30 minutes before bed
Hydration Reminder
- Fill your water bottle before every shift
- Drink at least 8 oz of water when you wake up
- Set a phone reminder every 2 hours during your shift
- Keep your bottle visible as a visual cue
- Aim for at least 64 oz (8 cups) per day
- Add lemon or cucumber if plain water feels boring
Meal Prep Reminder
- Choose one prep day per week (your first day off)
- Cook a batch protein: chicken, turkey, or eggs
- Prep a grain: rice, quinoa, or oats
- Roast a tray of vegetables
- Portion into containers for each shift
- Pack your lunch bag the night before
Rest & Reset Ideas
- Sit in your car for 5 minutes before going inside
- Take 3 slow, deep breaths between tasks
- Step outside for 10 minutes of fresh air
- Stretch for 5 minutes after your shift
- Journal one thing you're grateful for today
- Spend 10 minutes in prayer or quiet reflection
