Sleep Checklist

  • Create a dark, cool, quiet sleep environment
  • Use blackout curtains or a sleep mask
  • Turn on white noise or a fan to block daytime sounds
  • Set a "Do Not Disturb" sign or signal for family
  • Aim for 7–8 hours of uninterrupted sleep
  • Limit screens 30 minutes before bed

Hydration Reminder

  • Fill your water bottle before every shift
  • Drink at least 8 oz of water when you wake up
  • Set a phone reminder every 2 hours during your shift
  • Keep your bottle visible as a visual cue
  • Aim for at least 64 oz (8 cups) per day
  • Add lemon or cucumber if plain water feels boring

Meal Prep Reminder

  • Choose one prep day per week (your first day off)
  • Cook a batch protein: chicken, turkey, or eggs
  • Prep a grain: rice, quinoa, or oats
  • Roast a tray of vegetables
  • Portion into containers for each shift
  • Pack your lunch bag the night before

Rest & Reset Ideas

  • Sit in your car for 5 minutes before going inside
  • Take 3 slow, deep breaths between tasks
  • Step outside for 10 minutes of fresh air
  • Stretch for 5 minutes after your shift
  • Journal one thing you're grateful for today
  • Spend 10 minutes in prayer or quiet reflection
